The subject of the dissertation neccessitated a selective approach to the work of Luka Ilić Oriovčanin, selecting those printed works with a prominent popular element: Slavonske varoške pěsme (1844 – 1847), Lovorike (1874) and Narodni slavonski običaji (1846).
