Aim of this study was the verification of validity of dichotomuos classification of morningness-eveningness, relationship between morningness-eveningness and some demographic variables and relationship between photoperiodism and morningness-eveningness. 473 participants filled out previously adjusted and translated Morningness-Eveningness Questionnaire (Horne i Östberg, 1976). The survey was done online and participants were recruited with snowball sampling method. We confirmed the existence of bimodal group to which belonged 7,4% of participants, result similar to those of previous research. We found that (based on the entire sample) average weekly working hours, self-assessment of sleep quality and average daily sleeping hours were positively correlated with morningness. On the other hand, age, gender, education level, monthly salary, employment, marital status and parenthood did not correlate with morningness or eveningness. Analyzing only bimodal group, there was no significant relationship between any demographic variable and morningness-eveningness, which can be ascribed to the extremly small sample. Likewise, we found that amount of light at a moment of one's birth was not related to morningness-eveningness.
