Life satisfaction is correlated negatively with the number of hours of play a week, and no difference was found between the players of different genres in its degree. Achievement as a motivational component is significantly related to the needs for relatedness and competence, social component is related to all three basic psychological needs and the immersion component is related to the need for autonomy.
