Abstract

The goal of this research was to develop Croatian taxonomy of virtue descriptors using the lexical approach. The research also focused on comparing the lexical dimensions of virtues developed in Croatian language to those in Netherlands (De Raad & Van Oudenhoven, 2001) and the United States (Cawley et al., 2000), as well as exploring the relation with the Big Five personality model (Goldberg, 1990) and the moral foundations postulated by the Moral Foundations Theory (Haidt & Joseph, 2007).
