Abstract

Philosophy of information is a new area of research with its own field of investigation and methodology. This work introduces the influence made by information communication technologies on society as an presumption and necessity for further development of Philosophy of information, furthermore it analyzes it's open problems, and gives bibliometrical analysis of Philosophy of Information in the world of science production.
