Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to emphasize epistemological values of situated knowledges as a concept, analyse their main characteristics, point to their relation to the cyborg figuration and to depict the influence of situated knowledges to (feminist) standpoint theory. Through the construction of a new subject and object of knowledge, new embodied objectivity and method of partial perspective from a visible location, situated knowledge modernized feminist standpoint theories by their permanent relevance.
