Abstract
Faculty libraries have an important role in promoting information literacy among students. Library of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Zagreb served as an example of improvement education for students. Research was concentrated on students and their knowledge of using library materials and catalog. Besides that, short review of OPAC development, Koha Library Software and need for education gives wider context in understanding current situation and development of Library of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Zagreb.
