Abstract

Public libraries have a role to design and implement programs to meet the needs of the community in which they are located. Seniors are also living in that community, and for the purpose of this thesis a research was conducted via questionnaries to find out to what extent public libraries are implementing programs for said group of users. The aim of the study was to show which programs for seniores are mostly implemented, where are they implemented, who implemets them and the level of their attendance. Beside the results of study, the thesis includes the theroetical basis of mentioned topic.
