Abstract

In preschool institutions detecting and using emotions in different situations are often used as the basis of daily work which is directlyrelated with speech and movement. The idea of this paper is to design different activities for speech development using stories and songs for children that are appropriate to their age. In that process the role of phoneticians, one of professional associates predicted in pedagogical standard in preschool institutions, is to adapt the stories for characteristic movements in a way that the movement helps in speech development for children with different hearing and speech status. The paper gives suggestion for adjustments of gross motoric movements as well as micro movement based on the stories for children which suit thematically to four basic emotions: happiness, sadness, anger and fear. Through stories and movement children can pronounce better and that opens a range of possibilities for further research about role of phonetician in the preschool institutuions.
