Abstract
In the light of growing interest in organic food items in Croatia, it's become apparent that organic food market employs on marketing strategies that clearly differ from those used in its conventional food counterpart. These strategies rely primarily on very specific language and style usage that is meant to attract a certain consumer demographic. This paper will not be focusing on the effects this language usage has on the consumer, but will rather look into whether Croatian organic food market employs the same language constructs and strategies that have been observed in other European countries. The other thing this paper will be focusing on is how to determine the type of data that would give an answer to this question, as well as how it should be collected and analyzed. The data presented and analyzed in this paper was collected in the form of two separate unlabeled corpora built exclusively for the sake of this research paper, which is why this paper will be covering the topic of corpora-building and usage as well.
