Abstract
This paper deals with individual and personal construction of a lifelong and unitary revolutionary project of the author, intellectual and revolutionary August Cesarec. Within a framework of intellectual history, history of ideas and other theoretical and methodological concepts concerning literary studies, philosophy and sociology, the purpose of this paper is to illustrate various modes of adjustment of individual revolutionary activities in a broader political sense of anarchism, socialism and communism, that is, in the context of Cesarec being a member of The Communist Party of Yugoslavia. Structured so as to encompass actions from private to public spheres and physical actions, with an analysis of knowledge accumulation methods and different types of capital which enabled Cesarec to develop a complex and layered identity, this paper is also an attempt to deconstruct the image of August Cesarec as either an exclusively orthodox and mindless executor of Party's orders or a primitive leftist author, showing the complex interaction of micro and macro structures in the entirety of its historiographic relevance.
