Abstract
This master thesis titled „Where does love go? Anthropological examples of future visions of love“ deals with possible outcomes of relations between women and men. After a brief reflection on the ways of predicting the future, there will be shown concepts of love relationships in the three dystopian novels „We“ written by Yevgeny Zamyatin, „Brave New World“ by Aldous Huxley and „1984“ by George Orwell. Furthermore, following the thought of Karl Marx and William A. Haviland, that for the estimates of the future is important to establish both historical and current trends, there will be short overview of male-female relationships throughout history. In the debate on the relationship between men and women in the future, there will be more words about changing the relation of power between them, which has been perceived in the past decades in social aspects such as politics, education and employment and which could lead to gender equality. Further, for the future of love relationships, there are proposed forms of realtions that would remind of polygamy, but with different principles. There will be talk of the influence of biotechnology, both benefits of artificial conception and also of the negative impact on male-female relationships. In the end, there is a brief review of the possible realization of the love relationship between man and artificial intelligence, whose realization inhibits human emotion and imagination.
