Abstract

The concept of heritage has recently been used to talk about tradition, folklore, sustainable development, cultural, social, economic and economic prosperity. What does it mean to say that heritage is an economic source and cultural capital? To answer this question we need to be more familiar with the development of the notion of heritage and the definition of heritage, which says that heritage is a common wealth of mankind in its diversity and peculiarity, and its protection is one of the important factors for the recognition, definition and affirmation of cultural identity. However, the ever-present heritage industry confines the past to the heritage of products and experiences for the needs of the cultural tourism market. Taking into account the necessary sustainable development of cultural tourism and the possibilities of informal and formal learning, participation in the organization and consumption of cultural tourism products results in the strengthening of the cultural and cultural identity of the local community and of the general visitors, so we can say that heritage is also a cultural capital. 66 With the aim of cultural, economic, social and economic development, the Heritage Route of the City of Vinkovci has been designed.
