Abstract
This paper explains the idea of visual arguments. Different theories of those who support this idea and of those who oppose it are presented. By the analysis of four examples it is proved that visual arguments do exist and it is shown of which elements they consist. Although there has not yet been an exact definition of what a visual argument is, based on the examples that have been analysed in this paper, it is proved that visual arguments can function as arguments without adding verbal components to them and that their power and efficiency are unquestionable.
