Abstract

Malware, along with viruses, is one of the greatest threats to computer users on the Internet. It can take over your browser, redirect your searches, show inappropriate pop-up ads, track your browsing history and create a lot of different problems. Most of malware programs have to be installed by the user, and it's easier to infect your computer with them, than get rid of it. Goal of this article is to spread awareness about malicious software, its consequences, methods of preventing this kind of software, also how to protect your personal computer and your own privacy.
