Abstract
In this research we studied two groups of drivers: young drivers (to 30 years) and senior drivers (over 64 years). They were all on psychological examination in 2002 so they could acced to their driving test (413 young drivers) or for extending their rights on driving licence (237 senior drivers). Resoults that they achived on IQ test were divided in three groups (25 % the worst, 50 % average and 25 % the best) and compared with number of repeting written and practical part of driving test (young drivers) and with number of traffic violations and accidents (young and senior drivers). Resoults show that the worst, average and the best statistically differ only in number of repeting written part of driving test. The worst on IQ test had repeted that part of test significantlly more than average and the best. Three groups don't differ statistically significant in other criteria (number of repeting written and practical part of driving test, number of traffic violations and accidents).
