Abstract

The first chapter of this thesis is about the vision, different types of impaired vision and its importance in our lives. It is also about the role of the sound in lives of the blind or vision impaired people. The second part is about the services that the Croatian Library for the Blind as well as public libraries in Croatia offer to the blind or vision impaired people.
