Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the relations of theStress Reactions Scale and Drawing of the human body, andtheir relation with The Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS), and to examine gender differences in the results. The study was conducted on 531 participants from the adult population. The results showed differences in the results on the factors of Stress Reactions Scale due to markness of certain categories on the silhouette. We found differences in Sympathetic-anxiety reaction factor due to markness of categories abdomen, arms and legs; in Muscle reaction factor due to markness of categories neck, chest, hands andlegs;inPainfactordue to markness of categories neck, shoulders and back;in Generalweaknessfactordue to markness of categorieabdomen; in Digestive reaction factor due to markness of categories neck, abdomen and arms and in Respiratory reaction factor due to markness of categoriesabdomen, chest and heart. Also, we found significant correlations between Stress Reactions Scale and its factors with DASS and its subscales. The analysis showed the existence of significant differences in the overall results of the DASS scale of those who marked and those who did not mark categories abdomen, chest, arms and legs in Silhouette. As for subscales of DASS, the results show differences in categoriesabdomen, chest, arms, legs, heart and back for the Anxiety scale, in categories chest, arms and legs for the Depression scale, and in categories head, neck, abdomen, chest, arms and legs for the Scale of stress.Gender differences were examined, whereby women achieve higher scores on the Stress Reactions Scale and all its factors except Muscle reaction and Respiratory reaction, on the Silhouette and all its categories exceptchest, arms, legs and heart, and on the DASS Stress Scale.
