Abstract
The subject of this thesis is the impact of museum workshops on the development of multiple intelligences in children, and it uses Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences as the basis of its research. One of the discussed topics is the narrow understanding of the notion of intelligence. The fact that every individual can be intelligent in many different ways and is able to see the world in its own characteristic manner is emphasized in this paper. The theoretical basis is then applied to actual workshops that took place at the Archaeological Museum of Zagreb. There were three workshops in total, all involving children of school age as its participants. Within the workshops, the extent to which a certain kind of intelligence is represented is considered as well. The conclusion of this thesis is that museum workshops should be as versatile as possible and encourage the development of multiple intelligences.
