Abstract
In her dissertation Klementina Batina attempts to determine the contributions of women to early Croatian ethnology and folklore research. This is achieved by comparative research of the manuscripts from the archive of the Academy's Department of Ethnology, more precisely through the application of three constructs: women-recorders, women-researchers, and women-narrators.
