Abstract
The thesis deals with children's jokes, occurring within the framework of educational institutions. Study presents a theoretical framework within which jokes are located as a folkloric genre and a folklore of the studied group respectively, children's folklore. Data collected during the research is presented and explained using theoretical assumptions of contemporary ethnologists/sociologists who have studied jokes. An important and inevitable part of the thesis constitute personal experiences collected on the field, without which it would not be possible to contextualize the entire research, resulting in thesis which would remain a mere enumeration of theories and a display of collected jokes.
