Abstract
The scientific contribution of the paper is provided in theoretical and research part. In the theoretical part contribution was made to the methodology of relations between Bloom’s taxonomy of learning outcomes, which is illustrated by the example of the application of technology in teaching computer science, and methods of assessment and evaluation of knowledge. The experimental research was conducted to support the theoretical work that has shown that the use and application of a blended learning model in the classroom increases the students’ level of knowledge, as well as encourages them to acquire new knowledge and skills. The conducted experiment proved the viability of the thesis according to which electronic learning represents a practical application of knowledge and increases the level of knowledge. Moreover, the application of Bloom's taxonomy in computer science teaching can help to more effectively determine and achieve learning outcomes. Benefits of the blended learning model can be found in the functional nexus of technology application and the capabilities of a quality teacher. In this way, students are encouraged to use practical skills and theoretical knowledge during the educational process. The research data demonstrated that the use of modern information and communication media in teaching computer science increases the level of students' knowledge. Modern media, such as educational computer programs, enable greater connection between theoretical and practical knowledge, encourage students to do creative work through the acquisition of computer skills, and thereby contribute to increasing their knowledge level. According to the research results, it is evident that the blended learning model fosters creativity and desire to explore among today's young generation. One of the main reasons for that is the multimediality of electronic contents that in an interactive way provide feedback and offer greater opportunities for practical application. All above stated has been confirmed through the comparison of results obtained from the research of control and experimental groups for preliminary research and main research.
