Abstract

In this paper an overview of historical, geographical and cultural characteristics of Grobnik is given, as well as the basic characteristics of the Grobnik idiom, with special emphasis on its phonological and morphological properties. Basic features of word formation with special focus on the study of word formation in the Grobnik speech is given. Diminutives and augmentatives of nouns (masculine, feminine and neuter) are individually presented. For each gender attested suffixes with examples are listed.
