Abstract
We consider education and knowledge mechanisms of social and economic development, and educational institutions the most important actors in the institutionalization of new knowledge. Business intelligence is a scientific and business management tool recognized worldwide, and its foundations derive from an analysis of economic and non-economic areas of society, thoroughly processed and used information that serve as the foundation for strategic business decisions in the business world. The results of content analysis show the level of implementation of an international innovative business tool business intelligence into the curricula of business schools in Zagreb, which is one of the indicators of readiness and competitiveness of our educated workforce.
