Abstract

In this paper, through integrative analysis, I endeavoured to explicate the essence of contemporary psychiatric paradigm, below which is glooming psychiatric stance based on discursiveness of moral reflection, set on a priori ethical errancy marked with inadequate implementation of therapy methods and irresponsible techniques of medical treatment, which is producing the alienation of human being’s psyche as a consequence. Despite the sharp relevancy of philosophically influenced reflections focused on human psyche, which abduced the drifts of existentialists, psychoanalysts and antipsychiatrists throughout 20th century, institutional psychiatry is still ignorant and continues to avoid insights of philosophical origins, which is the reason why are we are witnessing the progressive increasing of psychic disorders and beings pervious by them, and which is affirming ineffectiveness of paradigm. Discussion on psychiatry and its empirical practice is complicating and sharpening by fact that its “scientific hat” has been used for centuries as instrument of political and religious counterfeiting of moral rules, which clouded the estimation of real psyche martyrs and simulated cases, and the madness phenomena per se. Phenomena which are crucial objects of ethics, e.g. human action, will, freedom or consciousness, in practice are being endangered by dogmatic doctrine of psychiatric therapy methods. During research, I tried to show the fact that logics of therapy aren’t curing sufferings of psyche, but are alienating martyrs from potency of their independent being, through methods of implementation of psychopharmacs and imprisonment in mental institutions, conducting a kind of “euthanizing of martyr’s psyche”. This type of organized euthanasia of free beings is activating bioethical alert, wherefore I introduced hypothesis that psychiatry demeanor is bioethical question and that only intellectual and moral sensibility of integrative bioethics methodology can adequately and efficiently respond to aporias of psyche treatment, through the moral prism of life luminance. In this paper, I am claiming that through merciless classification and bifurcation of society, the psychiatry is implementing a kind of speciesism, in which “normal” beings are worth more than “disturbed” ones, and such kind of stance is being projected on general social perception. Finally, I explain and conclude that without philosophical reflection the object of psyche treatment is becoming trivial, shallow and purposeless object of marketing in the hands of immorality, and I am underlining that we necessarily must set the border between benefits and obstacles which psychiatry is projecting toward the health of human beings.
