Abstract
It's been 135 years since the establishment of the first Grubišno Polje's reading room. At the time, the reading room was visited by members who were eager for information and entertainment. Since the beginning, reading room purchased newspapers and magazines that members loved to read. They were organizing parties and dances. It took years to develop, finnaly in 2006 it became what it is today, Public Library „Mato Lovrak“. It is located near the kindergarden and the middle and high school. It is devided into four departments :the Department for adults, Children's Department, Study department with reading room and Local History Collection. The Regional Library in VelikiGrđevac also work with this library.
