Abstract
This thesis, using a short survey and analysis of existing digital libraries, identifies that the problem of digitalization isn't found in the process of mere converting analogue into digital but surprisingly in making the content that has been digitised available to the public. Apparently the issue was the lack of framework that would allow librarians to easily upload their existing documents to a digital library and make them available to the general public. In order to solve this issue tutorial is created which gives the basic guidelines on how to set up and start using digital library that is based on Omeka open source software.
