Abstract
Electronic media and the internet have changed ways in which member of social community access information necessary in their everyday life. These changes infl uence position of libraries in society. Libraries have been loosing their users who are replacing them with the internet as a primary source of versatile content and services. Rich and uninterrupted availability of content in digital form challenges libraries to transform their services and reposition them in user community and meet needs of younger generations who are replacing libraries in favor of the internet. To verify that this hypothesis is true, a research among visitors of “Bogdan Ogrizović” library was initiated. Aim of the research was to collect data about user perception about library and use of its services in order to improve those services.
