Abstract
This paper describes the process of creating an information system in a network
environment, on an example of an interactive map. The process of creating the system is
described from the initial idea of the project and preparations for building a website, to
writing the application itself. The paper includes steps in process of building a website,
from the basic idea and purpose of the project, to building the website, it’s HTML and
CSS structure and creating an interactive map using the Google Maps JavaScript API.
