Abstract

The main goal of this thesis is to establish the most suitable project management methodology for managing the space digitisation projects. In the theoretical section, besides defining the concepts of digitisation and space digitisation, there is also a section on an already completed student project Virtual tour through the exhibition “The Alphabet of Money”, and the analysis of the three most common types of project management methodologies: traditional (waterfall), agile (Scrum) and one of the other metodologies (PRINCE2). By exploring the possible improvements of the aforementioned project through the research part in which these methodologies are compared by using the real project, this thesis presents a valuable insight into the problem through a unique perspective of an author who participated in that project. The research part consists of a comparison of the three selected methodologies, which in turn provides the author’s choice of the most appropriate project management methodology for digitisation of space.
