Abstract
The goal of this study was to explore the relationship between the Conditional reasoning test for aggression (CRT-A) and counterproductive work behaviour and its usefulness in predicting such behaviour beyond the five factor personality model. Data was collected from 196 employed adults who differed in age, education, and type and duration of employment. CRT-A showed a positive correlation with counterproductive work behaviour, and showed no correlation to personality traits. Regression analysis with general counterproductive work behaviour as the criteria showed that CRT-A significantly improves the prediction of such behaviour.
