Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to analyze four A. B. Simic’s poems - Vampir, Mjesečar, Bakterije i Zanesena pjesma.The analysisis based on the principles of expressive phonetics. Elements of the phonetics of poem show no isolated poetic character, so every song is analyzed as a whole, within its own context. Among the different parts of the songs strong motivated connections, based on the metric, voice and speech level are revealed. The poems are divided into two groups. The analysis of the first two poems is followed by their synthesis and comparison. Then follows the analysis and the synthesis of the second two poems, which are also then compared. In all four poems were found numerous elements of phonetics of poems. Reflection, summarizing and repetition, creating a motivated relationships between parts of the poem, build the poem area. The most common procedures found in the analysed poems are: words repetition, assonance, alliteration, ellipsis and mirror structures. Using the example of four analyzed Šimic’s poems, this work has shown a complex process of creating poem area. Analysis, synthesis and comparison of poems revealed number of elements that constitute the phonetics of poems.
