Abstract
This study investigates if there is any difference in level of parental stress and organizational commitment between two groups of parents-employees of VIPnet: parents whose children are attending VIPnet child on-site center and parents whose children are attending kindergarten outside of VIPnet. In addition, it tries to describe child on-site center and find out its advantages and disadvantages from parents' point of view. Results didn't show difference between two groups of parents in parental stress and commitment to VIPnet. From parent's perspective there are much more advantages than disadvantages of child on-site center. Advantages are: proximity to place where parents work, higher level of control of on-site functioning and adjustment of working hours of on-site center to the working hours of parents. Disadvantages are: on-site center's distance from local neighbourhood, high price, child's dependency of parent's working hours and increase of overtime work. Parents whose children are attending VIPnet's on-line center are more satisfied with kindergarten in general as well as with its components such as nutrition, equipment, educator's treatment of children and working hours. They are less satisfied only with the price. Main methodological disadvantage of this survey is small number of participants.
