Abstract

This doctoral thesis will analyse the phenomenon of migration and displacement caused by global environmental change. The thesis is based on current theoretical insights on the connection between environmental change and migration. It scrutinizes and critically analyzes that insights with purpose to understand the relation and the ways in which environmental factors generate (in)voluntary migration.
