Abstract
The main objective of this study is the cognition of a phenomenon of disturbance in the adolescents' behaviour, as well as the connection of that behaviour with their families. The special emphasis is given to the structure and the social status, the level of risk, their parents' attitude towards the risky behaviour, educational methods of their parents and the family's relationships. The theoretical basis of this study is Bronfenbrrenn's ecological system theory that in order to understand sociological behaviour takes into consideration all biologically-psychosocial components. The attention is directed to the risky behaviour because of its considerable prevalence and also considering we are talking about adolescents still in the process of development. The theoretical part of this study includes the analysis of three key elements: family, adolescence and behaviour disorders, while the empiric part of it refers to the research that was conducted on 1297 high school students in the county of Krapina-Zagorje.
