Abstract
Although many previous studies examined the ability of various personality models and integrity tests to predict counteproductive work behaviour, only few have focused on the question which of them has the advantage in that prediction. This was exactly the main objective of this study, which was to investigate the contribution of personality- based integrity tests in predicting counterproductive work behaviour above the HEXACO personality model. Conducted on a sample of Croatian employees (N= 145), this study has shown links between the HEXACO personality model, a covert integrity test and counterproductive work behavior using the distinction on organizational and interpersonal deviance. The results showed that the personality based integrity test achieved incremental validity above the HEXACO model in predicting all forms of counterproductive work behaviour.
