Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine the association of organizational learning climate and occupational self-efficacy as predictors of job satisfaction. The study included 352 participants–public transport drivers. The sample consisted of male participants average age 46,8 years (SD=9,34), the majority with secondary school education (95,1%). Participants filled out the Learning climate scale, Short Version of the Occupational Self-Efficacy Scale and overall Job saftisfaction. Hypotetical model proposed in this study would suggest correlation between organizational learning climate and job satisfaction with occupational self-efficacy as mediator variable. Age and organizational intership, as control variables, showed high positive correlation (r=.670, p<.01). Learning climate scale is determined by two factors, facilitation and appreciation learning climate and error-avoidance climate. The results showed that the factors - facilitation and appreciation learning climate (r=.389; p<.01) and error-avoidance climate (r=.107; p<.05) are positive correlated with job satisfaction. On the other hand, there was no correlation between factors - facilitation and appreciation learning climate (r=.083; p>.05) and error-avoidance climate (r=-.019; p>.05) and occupational self-efficacy. Results have shown positive correlation between occupational self-efficacy and job satisfaction (r=.254; p<.01).
