Abstract
The role of public libraries' native collections in the local tourist offer by forming native collections, public libraries fulfill a demanding and important function for local community and by collecting material that talks about its different aspects of life, public libraries have the responsibility to store and to take care of such matter, but also to present its values to public. One of the ways in which the libraries can popularize the content of native collections is that they make it part od local tourist story, the content should be formed in a way that it makes quality and interesting product of cultural tourism that can satisfy the users' needs for cultural contents in a tourist destination.
