Abstract
This work aims to show the changes that occured in the representation and the construction of female subjectivity through the history of the fields of Anthropology and Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology. The analyzed examples are of foreign and domestic literature with an emphasis on the most representative theoreticians and theories of each period, outlining the general tendencies of the treatment of women in the two fields. Likewise, a special focus was given to the impact of feminism on the changing views of women in the fields, but also the influence that the disciplines have had on the development of feminist ideas.
